We’re excited to announce that Vantage Credit Union has its first mobile application—now available on Google Android! The app will also be available for the iPhone in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for an update.
This new app makes it easy to read Vantage online content on your phone. You’ll be able to view our website, Twitter, and YouTube feeds. And if you find some stories or posts interesting, you'll be able to instantly share them with family or friends via e-mail, Twitter and/or Facebook, right from your phone! It’s one more way to stay in touch with Vantage on the go.
Depending on the response we see to the new Vantage app, we may consider expanding it to include account access/information. So be sure to let us know what you think!
So your electronic fairy godmother (or if you still prefer snail-mail, Mr. Postman) finally got around to delivering that big, fat tax refund check you’ve been waiting for. Woo-hoo! You’re not alone, there’s a lot of woo-hooing going on these days. As proof, here’s some tax time trivia for you—according to Bankrate.com, last year (tax year 2008) over 96,000,000 taxpayers saw a refund from Uncle Sam worth an average of $2,683. That was up from 2007’s $2,371. Of the 131.5 million tax returns filed, over 73% received returns. Four out of five people say they expect a return this year.
