Our Bridgeton building at one time housed a school in the Pattonville School District. Rather ironic considering Vantage’s deep roots within the educational community. The property on Fee Fee was purchased in 1985, and occupancy was ready in 1987, at which time Administrative and Back Office departments moved in from their various offices. The Bridgeton branch was opened in August, 1989.

WHAT TO DO NEXT?
Unfortunately, a few months ago I threw out some old RAC checks I cut off the acct numbers but did not shred the whole check. I received a notice from Schnucks telecheck that I have $1032.76 in bad checks. I asked for copies from the collection agency and to my surprise someone had altered the checks changing the address. It is not my signature. Can I get some kind of statment from Vantage saying when RAC went out of business? Should I have to make a police reportdone and sent.
Anonymous: Yes you should contact the police and complete a report. Please visit one of our branches so we can assist you with your account. Thanks, Jim
Definitely start by filing a police report. The RAC merger occurred in 1999. We'll be happy to provide any documentation on you need, but you'll need to contact us in person or by calling us at: 314.298.0055 or 800.522.6009.
Thanks.
Please list your phone numbers.
These can be found under contact us at the top right of the web page.
A potential landlord would like to verify that I am a Vantage customer in good standing and the amount of time that I have had an active account. Would one of the tellers be able to give me a short note on Vantage letterhead?
Sherrie: Please contact one of our Branch Managers for this request. Thanks, Jim
I have a check made out to my husband (a VCU member) in Pounds, from the UK. It is his dividend check. Can we deposit it ( in $) at the main branch?
Pat - We would be happy to help you negotiate this check. Because it is not in US Dollars it cannot be processed through the normal Federal Reserve channels and the item will need to be sent for collection. Any of our tellers would be happy to help you with this process. Jim
Will your locations be open friday july 3?

I have a large amount of bulk change, im talking like 8 full coffee cans worth, its all sorted but not counted. Can I just bring in my bulk and have you guys count it or do you require me to have it rolled? Thanks Jeremy
Jeremy: All of our branches, with the exception of Twin Cities, have a coin machine. Please feel free to bring your coins in un-wrapped - there is no fee for Members for this service. Jim
where are your fax numbers?
For the Bridgeton Branch, it's 314.209.6697.
I can't find phone numbers for the branches. They should be in multiple places. In this economy, you need to make things extra easy for consumers if you want to keep customers.
In addition to finding the numbers under Contact Us, you can also use our Search function to find information on our site. We look forward to talking with you. Jim
If you click on the Contact Us link at the top of the page, you'll find two phone numbers (314.298.0055 for local calls and 800.522.6009 for long distance) that will connect you to our Phone Center. Our Phone Center should be able to help you with your questions, but if you need to speak to a particular person at a branch or administrative department, the Phone Center will connect you directly to that person or branch/department. Thanks.
Since the mid-1980's I have been a member/customer of the RAC credit union, which became a part of the Educational Employee's Credit Union, and subsequently Vantage Credit Union. Through this 25 years, I have always received superior service and treatment. I wouldn't dream of taking my money anywhere else. Vantage has helped me through some very tough times, helped me to celebrate good times, and helped me acquire several vehicles with absolutely no headache at all. The staff has always been very accommodating to me, and I have actually been told on several occasions that I am a valued member. They've given me resources to coach me through bad credit, and have taken risks by granting me credit when others wouldn't. I realize no one is perfect, we all have bad days, and we all are only human and mistakes are made, so no, it's not perfect, but it is the best banking around, and I HAVE belonged to several other banks in addition to VCU. Thank you staff of VCU for all you do!
Fay - thank you for your comments - you made my day. I greatly appreciate your support of Vantage and look forward to serving you for many years to come. Jim
I am a member of Vantage Credit Union, and have been for approximately 8+ years. I also know that my mother and several other school employees that I know are members. Because of my experience during a recent automobile accident and my vehicle being totaled, I would not recommend anyone using this credit union. They have been uncooperative, rude, and not at all helpful during a stressful time of getting rid of an old vehicle and finding a new one. I actually was yelled at on the phone by one of the managers at this bank. I have repeatedly contacted the bank and been put on hold for long periods of time at each contact, but still have not gotten the loan finalized yet. Just wanted to post the experience I had, because it will probably happen to other customers. I am telling anyone I know with money in Vantage Credit Union to cancel their accounts. In this economy there is no reason for poor customer service and they should be taking care of their customers. That is all a bank has to offer.
I have to admit that I was surprised by your post. It is our goal to consistently provide superior service to our Members and I am disheartened to hear that you feel you did not receive this level of service. Unfortunately, without a name or email address I don't have a way to contact you directly to discuss your post. Please contact me at 314.298.0055 so we can visit one on one. Jim
I've been searching all the information for over 10 minutes. Can't find any hours of operation. Why is that a secret?
You'll find hours of operation, along with phone numbers and other important information, on the Contact Us page along the top right side of the site.
